of crazy and stupid

A truck driver was doing his usual delivery to the Mental Hospital.
He discovered a flat tyre when he was about to go home.
He jacked up the truck and took the flat tyre down.
When he was about to fix the spare tyre, he accidentally dropped all the bolts into the drain.
As he can't fish the bolts out, he started to panic.
One patient happened to walk past and asked the driver what happened.
The driver thought to himself, since there's nothing much he can do; he told the patient the whole incident.
The patient laughed at him & said "can't even fix such a simple problem...no wonder you are destined to be a truck driver..."
Here's what you can do, take one bolt each from the other 3 tyres and fix it onto this tyre.
Then drive to the nearest workshop and replace the missing ones, easy as that"
The driver was very impressed and asked
"You're so smart but why are you here at the Mental Hospital?"
Patient replied:
"Hello, I stay here because I'm crazy not STUPID!"

Life of reaping of the sowed

The following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS Sunday Morning Commentary.

My confession:

I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish. And it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, bejeweled trees, Christmas trees. I don't feel threatened. I don't feel discriminated against. That's what they are, Christmas trees.

It doesn't bother me a bit when people say, 'Merry Christmas' to me. I don't think they are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto. In fact, I kind of like it. It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year. It doesn't bother me at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersection near my beach house in Malibu .. If people want a crèche, it's just as fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.

I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period.. I have no idea where the concept came from, that Americais an explicitly atheist country.. I can't find it in the Constitution and I don't like it being shoved down my throat.

Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we should worship celebrities and we aren't allowed to worship God as we understand Him? I guess that's a sign that I'm getting old, too. But there are a lot of us who are wondering where these celebrities came from and where the America we knew went to.

In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended to be a joke; it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking.

Billy Graham 's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her 'How could God let something like this happen?' (regarding Hurricane Katrina ).. Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, 'I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?'

In light of recent events... Terrorists attack, school shootings, etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found a few years ago) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK.
Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school. The Bible says thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave, because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock 's son committed suicide).
We said an expert should know what he's talking about. And we said okay.

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.'

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says. Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Are you laughing yet?

Funny how when you forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it.
Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.

My Best Regards, Honestly and respectfully,

Ben Stein

Grace is when God gives us what we don't deserve and mercy is when God doesn't give us what we do deserve.

KNOWLEDGE vS wisdom

In life one mustn't hate others. IN LIFE, one mustn't hate oneself--so much so that hatred be disguise the upon others.

There is wisdom spoken everyday. Are you listening or just hearing

Knowledge is essential But not important

Knowledge is of past. Wisdom is of future
Wisdom is applying the knowledge best achieving balance of harmony and trust. Understanding, analysing every angle thus is wise decisions arrive.

Growing old has to do with knowledge
Growing up is all wise & wisdom

pursuit not knowledge but wisdom-- it last, longer.

Passing surrounds

The year has been with many occasions, incidents carpet the calender of 2009.

Gloomy day this. A day mourn for the lost of a dear Father, a loving husband, uncle, grandfather, Godfather, father figure, a spiritual leader, spiritual father
--A great friend.

You have thought us all you know, to be everything good. A Christian Guru; you help us see, think, mature and grow in every 'LIVING' sense—Christianly in your wisdom. You loved unconditionally; you protect the weak and protect the righteous. Your doors are always open for any who seeks refuge and comfort; your great selfless acts-always offering more than yourself.

You are..
Ben Lye, you will be dearly missed.

You have return to the father, joining Ralph and the angels and company of saints in rejoicing God in heaven in all its awe.

My condolences to the Lye family and may God's loving grace be among you in this trying period. The world today has lost among many things but A FATHER—in every sense of the word, the name, the being.

Mother, sister, aunt, grandaunt, to some....

Rough tough day goes by, but let the angels escort her to her resting place, with the peace of God within and the Mercy and light shine upon her. A loving mother, dear sister, generous with every little bit she had, eager to share, sharing life itself was too little to bare. Many will miss her with deep cuts in the hearts, many will hold precious memories together shared.A smile ever genioune. Linda Chua.

"deeply missed and remembered for her courage, simplicity and good heart." Desmond Lee

Aunt, mother, little sister, grandaunt- You will be missed greatly and welcomed home. I can't say more now. It was a phase too soon to arrive, to early to depart. our time was brief, but precious to all.

grief, sorrow, heart crushed.
love, family, friendships and unity.

1Malaysia 0rakyat

Yeay, lets subject everyone to more financial 'bonuses' to fund this brilliant Idea of motosports.
I know we have loads of motosports enthusiast but this is ridicules.
Can you imagine the lifestyle changes, price hikes and economic blunder waiting to happen?
Majority of the society in the country is of the average and below average income group. This Paints a portrait of slave like diet to be afforded daily. What else? Put it in simple terms, when you take water from a pond to fill a lake, the fishes in the pond have lesser now. where as in the lake, it would probably make less difference..

We cant even Assemble proper cars let alone manufacture, and now we want to take on billions of Rakyats money and gamble in this elite 'Game'

Proton Vs Rakyat

WHY are we still keeping them(Proton-bloody-berhad) around when they can rip us off like this?

Btw for those who dont know, the exchange rate is about 1sr to >1 ringgit atm.

Which means the Proton Pesona (compact category) there is cheaper than the Proton Saga (base-line model) here.

Please someone justify and explain this to the Rakyat if it makes not just business sense but any sense at all

monyet di hutan disusu
anak di rumah mati kelaparan!!

To put it in simple English, you could feed your neighbour's child, but let your own die of hunger.
